Worst trilogy ever, by the way. The actually happenings and behaviour during this COVID-19 pandemic would have been rejected by every publisher, I’m sure, for being so unrealistic.
Yet, I also feel I need to apologize to the writer of JAWS. People really would put the economy over the lives of swimmers in shark-infested waters. Huh.

As ever, I am grateful for our guest bloggers volunteering their time to write for us. Your support of this network is so appreciated. For a few years now, I have wanted to turn the Spoonie Authors Network into a not for profit with the dream of gaining grants to pay our guest bloggers, but my physical and mental health have been challenged to almost beyond what I can bear. So, thank you, dear authors, for enthusiastically writing for us. You’re awesome.
In the meantime, I am also hoping to publish more series and get more reference materials for the website, such as sensitivity editors and other Spoonie professionals that can offer reduced rates for indie authors.

Cait Gordon is a Canadian autistic, disabled, and queer author of speculative fiction that celebrates diversity. Her short story, The Hilltop Gathering (We Shall Be Monsters, Ed. Derek Newman-Stille), features a disabled protagonist and was discussed at a symposium about Frankenstein at Carleton University. Cait also joined Talia C. Johnson to co-edit Nothing Without Us, which has been part of a disability studies course at Trent University three times and became a 2020 Prix Aurora Award finalist. When not fine-tuning manuscripts, Cait advocates for disability representation and is the founder of the Spoonie Authors Network. She lives in Ottawa with her husband, Bruce.
