Worst trilogy ever, by the way. The actually happenings and behaviour during this COVID-19 pandemic would have been rejected by every publisher, I’m sure, for being so unrealistic.
Yet, I also feel I need to apologize to the writer of JAWS. People really would put the economy over the lives of swimmers in shark-infested waters. Huh.
But onto happier things.
Podcast your cares away…

Your humble SpAN Editor might have been walloped by *gestures at everything* these past almost two years, but the Spoonie Authors Network and Spoonie Authors Podcast continue on! Because Dianna Gunn (producer of the podcast) and I (transcript human) also manage spoons, the podcast will be once a month, but don’t miss it because the interviews are fantastic. And if you’d like to go back and read the transcripts or listen to them all, please visit our Podcast Menu! Here are the platforms where you can listen to each episode:
Everyone loves a blog… blog, blog, blog
(Points to anyone who knows what song I’m spoofing in that heading)
As ever, I am grateful for our guest bloggers volunteering their time to write for us. Your support of this network is so appreciated. For a few years now, I have wanted to turn the Spoonie Authors Network into a not for profit with the dream of gaining grants to pay our guest bloggers, but my physical and mental health have been challenged to almost beyond what I can bear. So, thank you, dear authors, for enthusiastically writing for us. You’re awesome.
In the meantime, I am also hoping to publish more series and get more reference materials for the website, such as sensitivity editors and other Spoonie professionals that can offer reduced rates for indie authors.
Chatting on Twitter every Sunday!
And one thing that is continuing as of January 9, 2022 is the weekly Spoonie Authors Chat on Twitter! You can find us each Sunday at 1 p.m. Eastern Time on our Twitter account: @spoonieauthnet. Our hashtag is #SpoonieAuthChat. We’d love it if you can join us!

Thanks again for networking with us!
I’m so grateful for the comments, authors, and community. Wishing you all many spoons this year!
Cheers,
Cait
